This humility is largely absent from modern NDE accounts. Raymond Moody was the first one who started taking this seriously the NDE and he was so fascinated about, not a religious person that's why everyone is messed up nowadays, he uses his brain to tell nonsense about reincarnation They are models for dealing with misleading, non-Orthodox "visions" of the afterlife. Only the enlightened, cautious, and well-informed soul is able to clearly see the demonic illusion involved in the NDE. And as each year passes, the need for clear thinking about the NDE and what it represents - the emerging religion of the Antichrist - increases. Just as a demon in an NDE (or close vision) can disguise himself as Christ, the Antichrist will one day appear as the Messiah. Thus, the NDE previews the false belief that the Antichrist will trap the world. Evidently, the modern-day NDE phenomenon is part of what St. Paul described in 2 Timothy 4: 3-4: itchy ears; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and they will turn into myths. " Will the faithful believe in the doctrines of the New Age NDE when they are told the truth about these false visions? In most cases, probably not. But because few can hear and respond, we Orthodox Christians must offer a clear and unequivocal testimony to the lies and dangers of the NDE phenomenon. Indeed, we can partly judge how clearly we are delivering this warning. What is false here is the being of light, and what is talking about, is other experiences don't have a conversation with that creature and do not mention that the beast-creature excludes these things whenever this creature is the picture of the experiences, for me, are demonic and are trying to confuse the reality of the afterlife The realm of the air is where the demons are condemned to tempt human souls before they are sent to hell at the Last Judgment. Monsters-DEMONIC BEINGS are of course invisible to human senses but the fruits of their actions are shown in the human misery, chaos, and sin enveloping the world. Even though both Demons and Angels are beyond general human sense perception, they still belong to the realm of creation and thus "to this world." Furthermore, these spirits have definite forms and are finite in their movements (any quality of infinity belonging to God alone), so therefore they can be said to have "bodies" in a similar manner to the way humans do, if not physical ones. Abdul Hamid gave the order for the tomb of Mehmed the Conqueror, which was located next to the mosque, to be opened in order to check for any damage and make repairs. The tomb was opened, and at a depth of three meters, an iron trapdoor was found. From there, a stone staircase led down into the underground chamber of a Byzantine church. There, to their astonishment, the workers found a marble tomb containing the embalmed body of Mehmed—identical to the portrait painted by the Italian artist a few months before his death. This fact—that Mehmed was buried within the ruins of a Byzantine church—has been considered by many as strong evidence that he wished to be buried as a Christian and Byzantine emperor, among the other Byzantine rulers. It is known that Mehmed often claimed to be the successor of the Byzantine emperors. Sultan Abdul Hamid II, who, for political reasons at the time, had abandoned a certain Islamic sect he had followed and had adopted Sunni Islam, was seized with panic and ordered the tomb to be immediately sealed. These events took place before 1908, and since then, the tomb has never been opened again. For this reason, it is difficult today to verify the testimony. However, on December 19, 1996, a Turkish weekly publication associated with the well-known newspaper Sabah was released with the striking headline: “The Conqueror was a Christian.” The subtitle read: “Historians have not been able to solve this mystery to this day.” Many centuries after the death of the great Fatih—Mehmed the Conqueror, as he is historically known—it is also known that he had a Christian mother, most likely of Greek origin. The fact that in modern Turkey—where Islamic identity is strongly re-emerging—such reports are published is seen by some as evidence of doubt about Mehmed’s true religious identity, even within the official Turkish establishment. This becomes even more significant when we consider that Fatih Mehmed is one of the greatest taboos of Turkish history, nationalism, and identity. A leader like him was expected to embody not only national pride but also religious identity. And yet, inside his tomb, it is claimed, lies one of the greatest secrets of the Ottoman Empire. There were testimonies stating that next to the tomb there was a cross and an icon of the Virgin Mary. According to these claims, Mehmed the Conqueror may have embraced Christianity at the end of his life—something carefully concealed by official Turkish historiography. From his early childhood, he had contact with Christianity through his Christian mother. It is one of the great historical mysteries how a relatively small number of Seljuk Turks and Ottomans who arrived in Asia Minor between the 9th and 10th centuries managed, within a few centuries, to change the entire ethnic and religious character of a region inhabited by millions—many say up to 20 million—Greek-speaking Orthodox Christians. There are many explanations. Some say it was forced Islamization through violence, while others say it occurred for practical and economic reasons. However, because this process of religious conversion was often incomplete and superficial, a unique characteristic remained within Turkish Islam—one that some consider a heterodox element. Today, this is being increasingly discussed by Turkish journalists and researchers under the term “the religious problem of modern Turkey.” On November 10, 2002, a Turkish newspaper reported that the feast of Saint Nektarios was celebrated inside a Muslim mosque—formerly a Christian church—in Eastern Thrace. Many Turkish Muslims stayed after their prayers to observe the Christian service with great reverence. Similarly, there are reports of Turkish Muslims attending Christian ceremonies, lighting candles, kissing priests’ hands, and seeking blessings from the Virgin Mary. In some cases, even Muslims from other countries, such as Iran and Iraq, visit Orthodox churches in Istanbul, seeking hope, healing, and help for their personal struggles. Some Turkish women have even been reported diving into the water during the Epiphany ceremony to catch the cross—an act deeply rooted in Orthodox Christian tradition. Other reports mention Muslims visiting churches regularly, praying, lighting candles, and asking for miracles. Turkish newspapers have even described certain churches as “places of hope” for Muslims. In recent years, there has also been an increase in conversions to Christianity in Turkey, often among people who later discover they have Christian ancestry. Investigations revealed that many of these individuals had ancestors who were Islamized, especially after the Asia Minor catastrophe, and later rediscovered their Christian roots. There are also remarkable accounts of healing sites, such as sacred springs associated with early Christianity, where both Turks and foreigners visit for healing. In some places, visitors light candles, burn incense, and perform acts that are officially forbidden in Islam. Despite this, such practices continue and are even broadcast on Turkish television. One striking example is the pilgrimage to Saint George on the island of Büyükada, where tens of thousands of Muslim Turks visit the church, light candles, make vows, and seek blessings. Some even walk barefoot up the hill to the church, tying threads along the path as part of a ritual for their wishes. Priests are seen blessing Muslim visitors, sometimes even making the sign of the cross on their foreheads. Finally, there was a mysterious event reported in 1998 on the island of Antigoni, where a strange, sorrowful sound—like a sigh—was heard every night around a church. Residents were alarmed and unable to explain it. Some interpreted it as a supernatural sign, even suggesting it was a message from the Virgin Mary—a lament for the state of the world and the abandonment of faith. The church, once full of Orthodox believers, now stands nearly empty. And this sorrowful “voice” was seen by some as a symbol of that loss.

Because they are unbaptized, they go to a place where the devils are not allowed to tempt them, because they are innocent. But it is dark, it is not paradise, it is darkness.” When Father Paisios woke up he told the people: “There ARE embryos and there IS a soul. Yes, you must light candles for the EMBRYOS. Because there is a soul.” ⸻ LET’S UNDERSTAND: A man approaches a woman and fertilization is done. The sperm of the man is alive — if it was dead, it would not fertilize. So it is alive. From the moment of fertilization the baby receives a soul. Fertilization = living soul + living body. The soul is the breath of God. It is a living being. Από τη στιγμή της γονιμοποίησης το μωρό λαμβάνει ψυχή. Γονιμοποίηση = ζωντανή ψυχή + ζωντανό σώμα. Η ψυχή είναι η πνοή του Θεού. Είναι ζωντανό ον. Άρα πρέπει να υπάρχει σεβασμός στα ΕΜΒΡΥΑ.

Δεν λέω ότι ξέρεις ήδη την απάντηση. Αλλά αν δεν υπάρχει Θεός, τότε μένουν κάποια ερωτήματα που πρέπει να σταθούν μόνα τους. But if there is no God, then some questions still remain. How did a universe governed by consistent laws come into existence? Why does matter follow mathematical order? How does mere matter give rise to consciousness — the experience of “I”? And why does human thought search not only for “how”, but for “why”? I’m not claiming the answer is easy. I’m saying the question doesn’t go away. And maybe the issue is not who “believes”. But who is willing to admit that not everything is explained.

When you die, my child, many will fight against the priests. And the high priests will not allow any priest to speak on his own—only what they tell him. The high priests will begin writing the sermons, and the priests will simply have to read them. In that time, they will even remove the cross from the sanctuaries. When you see these things, know that the great evil has begun. Priests will no longer be free to speak easily. That is why I will give my spirit to simple children, to boys and girls. It will not be a normal earthquake, but something far greater. At that time, all people, all Christians, will not know where to go or what to do. But remember what Christ says: in My name you were baptized as Christians; in My name you became priests. I will be your true Father of the Church. And remember that the Church is not the buildings that are constructed but your hearts. Time will pass, and people will come to understand who truly governs the world. Then they will see how harsh and evil the Antichrist is. If they do not make the sign of the cross, how will I bless them and remove the poisons placed in their bodies? When they do not have holy water, they will take ordinary water. They will not say “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,” yet I will bless that water, and when they drink it, their bodies will be blessed, and their minds will be cleansed.

Every Thursday and Friday—except, as I told you, for the 40 days after Epiphany—it cannot be performed on September 14th, which is the Feast of the Holy Cross. People would very often ask you to destroy others, especially in matters of inheritance involving large fortunes. Unfortunately, as I remember, during the periods of Holy Thursday and Holy Friday—when major magical rituals take place—even a person could be killed through magic. Of course, there are certain conditions that people should know: if God does not allow it, nothing can happen. For someone to be affected—even to the point of death—they must already be spiritually indifferent, hardened, and have rejected Christ from their heart. That is, they have completely turned away and placed themselves in the hands of the devil. So, if God allows it, and at some point it becomes evident—even to us—that death will occur, then there is a ritual that can be performed, and within 24 hours the person may die. —Have you performed such a ritual in an apartment in Athens? —Yes, of course. —Did your teacher only remove spells, or also cast them? —Mostly he cast them. And to tell the truth, he never removed them, because he couldn’t. He even told me that—“we can never undo them,” because that belongs to a higher authority, namely the Church. There were also periods he mentioned to me personally, when I myself was not well—I felt like I was going insane. This was during the period of Epiphany, from the day of Epiphany and for 40 days afterward, because of the great religious event of Christ’s baptism and the sanctification of the waters. All this, as Maros used to say, is why we protected ourselves and endured it by taking pills—sedatives and painkillers—because we had terrible pain, headaches, and a state of mental disturbance during that period. —How is this explained? —As I said, it can be explained better by the Church. It is the great gift that God gives to people—especially Orthodox Christians—through the sanctification that takes place. At that time, all spells are broken as a sign of God’s gift because of the baptism of His Son. That is, even if you had cast spells on someone, everything would be undone. All the written charms, all the bindings—everything would turn to nothing, like ashes and smoke. And we suffered because of this. What stood out is that during that time, both I personally and Maros—who also confessed this—recognized that Christ is indeed more powerful, and so is the Church. But we still couldn’t leave. —What did you tell your clients? —We told them excuses, because they came with serious complaints. They saw everything turning upside down. Even marriages that had been “achieved” through magic were breaking apart. Forgive me, but marriages were dissolving, along with other matters—inheritance cases and everything else. —Is it possible for someone who works as a medium to have a gift from God and help others? —According to the Orthodox Church, absolutely not, because they cooperate with demons. There are even cases where, at the moment magic or divination is being performed, if Christians are praying or a liturgy is taking place, all their rituals are immobilized. —Does the victim of magic have symptoms, and what are they? —First of all, anyone involved in such practices is cut off from the body of the Church. Secondly, they are exposed to evil spirits that operate within the realm of magic. There are many cases where even the practitioners themselves suffer greatly from the spirits they invoke. In other cases, people fall ill or suffer mental disturbance. —Finally, Father Daniel, how can someone be immune to magic throughout their life? —The way is to live a sacramental life. That is, to be a conscious member of the Church: to have a spiritual father, to confess, to receive Holy Communion, to study Scripture and the writings of the Church Fathers, and so on.

This is a well-known text from the books published about Elder Paisios, Saint Paisios the Athonite. From “Spiritual Awakening” (Discourses II), published by the Holy Hesychasterion of Saint John the Theologian in Souroti, Thessaloniki, around page 188. Listen: a nun once asked Elder Paisios, while he was still alive, “Elder, in these difficult times, will Christ intervene?” It’s the same question people ask today. The same question was asked even before 1994, when he reposed—30 years ago. Even then, people felt the times were difficult. Imagine what he would say about our times today. So the nun asks again: “Elder, in these difficult times, will Christ intervene?” And listen to the vision Paisios had. He was a prophet—not only did he have a prophetic gift (which others also had), but he also had the gift of interpreting prophecy. Here he answers someone who is suffering unjustly but has a good disposition. Because such a person deserves divine help, many times the saints, the Virgin Mary, or Christ Himself appear to save them. How much more now, when the poor world will be in such a difficult state? “What is coming,” he says, “will be like a storm.” Listen carefully—he says the following: “There will be a short ‘occupation’ by the Antichrist, by Satan. Then a ‘slap’ from Christ.” All nations will be shaken, and peace will come to the world for many years. This time, Christ will give an opportunity for His creation to be saved. Will Christ abandon His creation? No. He will appear at humanity’s dead end in order to save people from the hands of the Antichrist. People will return to Christ, and a spiritual peace will come over the whole world for many years. Do you hear what awaits us? These things are said for our own generation. Again—he said this 30 years ago. A spiritual peace will come over the whole world for many years. But first, he says, there will be a shaking of all nations. All nations will be shaken. These are no longer local problems. Notice—they are not national issues; they are global. Some people, he says—pay close attention—connect this intervention of Christ with the Second Coming. “I cannot say that,” he says. See how humble and discerning the saint was. “My thought tells me that this will not be the Second Coming of Christ as Judge, but rather an intervention of Christ.” Because there are still many events that have not yet taken place—he is referring to the events of the Apocalypse. Therefore, we cannot yet speak about the Antichrist in that final sense.

*The vision of Saint Niphon regarding the Second Coming has something to tell all of us, to every class of people, from bishops down to the last layperson. * One night, after the Saint finished his customary nightly prayer, he lay down to sleep on the stones. As always, it was midnight, and he was still keeping vigil, gazing at the moon and the stars in the sky. Alone as he was, he reflected on his sins. What sins? And yet he wept bitterly because he brought to mind the fearful hour of judgment. Suddenly, he sees the firmament of heaven being drawn back like a sheet, and the Lord Jesus Christ appears in enormous proportions. He stood in the air, surrounded by all the heavenly hosts—angels, archangels, and fearsome and exalted ranks arranged in perfect order. The Lord signaled to the commander of one rank, and he approached—radiant, awe-inspiring, yet reverent. “Michael, Michael, prince of the Covenant, take with your rank the fiery throne of My glory and go to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There you shall set it as the first sign of My presence. For the hour is near when each one will receive according to his works. And the moment has quickly come when I will judge those who worshiped idols, the devil, and denied Me, their Creator. All of them will be shattered like vessels, as will My enemies—the heretics who dared to separate Me from My Father, who dared to reduce the Comforter Spirit to a creature. What hell awaits them? Now I will appear to the Jews who crucified Me and did not believe in My divinity. All authority, honor, and power have been given to Me. I am the righteous Judge. When I was on the Cross, they said: ‘He saved others; let Him save Himself.’ Now vengeance is Mine; I will repay. I will judge, I will expose, and I will punish the wicked and perverse generation severely, because it did not repent. I gave them opportunities to repent, but they despised them. Therefore, now I will take vengeance. I will do the same to the Sodomites, to those who commit perversions and who polluted the earth and the air with their stench. I burned them then in Sodom and Gomorrah, and again I will burn them because they defiled the pleasure of the Holy Spirit and loved the pleasure of the devil. I will also punish the adulterers, the foolish and darkened ones who resemble irrational beasts. They were not content with their lawful marriage but foolishly turned to adultery, and Satan cast them bound into the abyss of fire. They did not hear that ‘it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.’ I called them to repentance, yet they did not repent. I will also condemn the thieves who committed many evils, even murders, and all those who committed a multitude of sins. I granted everyone opportunities to change, but they paid me no attention. Where are their good works? I showed them the prodigal son as an example and many others so that they would not despair in their sins, but they despised My commandments and denied Me. They turned away from Me and loved debauchery. They loathed Me and became enslaved to sin. Let them therefore go into the flame which they themselves kindled. But also those who died holding grudges, I will hand over to terrible torment. A resentful person remembers the evil done to him and never forgets it. They did not desire My peace was lost, and I lived in anger, bitterness, and wrath. The greedy, the usurers, and the lovers of money—I will destroy and pour out all My wrath upon them, because they placed their hope in gold and ignored Me, as if I did not know how to care for them. And those false Christians who claimed that there is no resurrection of the dead or that there is reincarnation—I will melt them down to Gehenna like wax. Then they will be convinced of the resurrection of the dead. The poisoners, the sorcerers, and all like them will be tortured mercilessly. Woe also to those who get drunk, revel, sing, dance, mock, and imagine evil things. I called them, and they did not listen; they mocked me. Now the worm will gnaw at their heart. I granted mercy and repentance to all, but no one paid attention. I will also cast into darkness those who despised the Holy Scriptures, which My Spirit wrote through the Saints. I will also judge those who deal in superstitions and place their hope in knives, axes, sickles, and similar things. Then they will learn that they should have hoped in God and not in the creations of God. They will be troubled and protest, but they will have no power, for vengeance is Mine; I will repay. I will also punish the kings and rulers who continually grieved Me with their injustices. They judged unjustly and arrogantly, despising people. They accepted bribes, but my authority does not accept bribes. For their injustice, I will destroy them. Then they will understand that I am the One who removes the authority of rulers, that I am more fearsome than all the kings of the earth. Woe to them—what punishment awaits them, because their teeth were set on edge and they shed innocent blood, the blood of their children and daughters. And what wrath shall I bring upon the hirelings who were not true shepherds, who devastated My vineyard and scattered My sheep? They cared for gold and silver, not for souls, and sought the priesthood for profit. How great will be their punishment, how great their lamentation! I will pour out all My anger upon them and crush them. I will punish their lawlessness with a rod and their injustices with scourges. Also, the priests who laugh or quarrel within My holy churches—what shall I do to them? I will condemn them to fire and Tartarus. I came, and I am coming. Whoever has strength, let him confront Me. But woe to him who, being sinful, falls into My hands. For each one will appear before Me naked and exposed. Where will the shamelessness of sinners appear then? How will they face My countenance? Where will they place their shame? They will be disgraced before My pure powers. Now I will also judge those monks who neglected their duties and betrayed the promises they made before God, angels, and men. They promised one thing and did another. From the height to which they ascended, I will cast them down into the abyss. It was not enough for them to destroy themselves, but they also caused a deadly scandal for others. It would have been better for them not to renounce the world than to renounce it and live burdened with sins. Vengeance is Mine; I will repay those who did not wish to repent. I will judge them as a just judge." These words, which the Lord proclaimed to the Archangel Michael, filled the countless angelic hosts with fear. Then He commanded that the seven ages of the world be brought before Him. Michael carried out the command and went immediately to the house of the Covenant and brought them. They were great books, which he placed before the judge. Then he stood aside reverently, watching as the Lord opened and examined the history of all ages. He took the first page, opened it, and read: “The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—God in three persons. From the Father, the Son was begotten. By the Word of the Father, the ages were made. The bodiless powers were created, the sea, the rivers, and all things within them.”

Here is the site of Panagia of Zodochos Pigi, also called Panagia of Glossa. It is located about 15–20 minutes from the main road. It lies south of the village of Kellaki, about 5 minutes away. The area is called “Listogonos Mountain,” and it received this name because in old times, pirate ships used to stop there after carrying out raids. The robbers would escape to this mountain to hide, since it was difficult to access. In the past, there was a small village here, which was later abandoned. The inhabitants moved further down. Perhaps this happened because of the raids, to stay hidden, or maybe because of the cold—we do not know. In this talk, I will speak first about the theological meaning of transformation in the Orthodox Church. -In Orthodoxy, salvation means not simply changing God’s attitude, but changing ourselves and being changed by God. Salvation ultimately means deification; and deification, as we have seen, entails transformation. It is being united with God ever more fully through His Grace, His Uncreated Energy, in which He is fully present. As we participate ever more fully in God’s life through His Grace, we become ever more deified, ever more in the likeness of Christ. Then, at the time of our departure from this life, we can dwell forever with Christ in His Kingdom because we “look like Him” spiritually, because we are shining with the Grace of God.

Ο ισχυρισμός ότι οι χριστιανοί θα γλιτώσουν την Μεγάλη Θλίψη, επειδή θα αρπαγούν πριν την εμφάνιση του Αντίχριστου, επίσης δεν θεμελιώνεται από την Βίβλο. Η αλήθεια είναι πως οι χριστιανοί θα περάσουν μέσα από την Μεγάλη Θλίψη και την περίοδο κυριαρχίας του Αντίχριστου. Αυτό διακηρύττει καθαρά η Αγία Γραφή

Η ταπεινή ψυχή παρακαλεί τον Θεό να της δώσει κατάνυξη και συναίσθηση της αμαρτωλότητός της, ακόμη και εάν ο Κύριος την ανεβάζει καθημερινά και της δείχνει ποικιλοτρόπως την αγάπη Του.
