God bless,the Holy Orthodox Church
All of the Holy Orthodox Church administers the Holy Body and Holy Blood of the Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ by means of the holy Chalice and holy Spoon. There has never been any documented account of deseases spreading because of the Holy Eucharist, and there never will be. This is because, the Holy Eucharist is truly the genuine Blood and Body of Christ, and therefore it wipes out all sin, deseases, sickness, etc. To believe that desease can spread from the Holy Eucharist is to deny the actuality of the Eucharist being the true Blood and Body of Christ.
