 This is Orthodoxy


Orthodoxy is not a theory, nor a philosophy.

It is life — divine life within the human heart.


It is not a Sunday habit, but a daily cross.

Not a religion of fear, but a kingdom of love.


Orthodoxy is tears of repentance that become light.

It is silence that speaks louder than the world.

It is the fire that purifies, not the fire that burns.


This is Orthodoxy:

To humble yourself and find strength.

To forgive when you are wounded.

To love even when you are rejected.

To see Christ in every person, even in your enemy.


It is not about being perfect — it is about being real before God.

It is not about judging others — it is about healing your soul.


This is the faith of the Apostles.

This is the faith of the Fathers.

This is the faith of the Saints.

This is Orthodoxy.

 Θεσσαλονικείς Α΄ 4:16–17:

«Διότι ο ίδιος ο Κύριος θα κατεβεί από τον ουρανό… και οι νεκροί εν Χριστώ θα αναστηθούν πρώτα. Έπειτα εμείς, όσοι ζούμε, θα αρπαχθούμε μαζί με αυτούς μέσα στα σύννεφα, για να συναντήσουμε τον Κύριο στον αέρα.»


👉 Αυτό δεν είναι μια «μυστική αρπαγή».

Είναι η Ανάσταση των νεκρών και η Δευτέρα


Παρουσία.

Η ιδέα ότι κάποιοι Χριστιανοί «εξαφανίζονται μυστικά» ενώ άλλοι «μένουν πίσω», είναι παραποίηση της διδασκαλίας της Εκκλησίας.





3. Γιατί η Αίρεση είναι Επικίνδυνη



Μουδιάζει πνευματικά τους ανθρώπους, λέγοντας:

«Μην ανησυχείς, θα γλιτώσεις τη θλίψη.»


Όμως το Ευαγγέλιο λέει το αντίθετο:

«Μέσα από πολλές θλίψεις πρέπει να εισέλθουμε στη Βασιλεία του Θεού» (Πράξεις 14:22).


Ο Χριστός μάς προετοίμασε για υπομονή και αντοχή,

όχι για φυγή από τις δοκιμασίες.

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17:


“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven… and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”


👉 This is not a “secret rapture.”

It is the Resurrection of the dead and the Second Coming.


The idea that some Christians will “secretly disappear” while others are “left behind” is a distortion of the teaching of the Church.





3. Why Heresy Is Dangerous



It spiritually numbs people by saying:


“Don’t worry, you will escape the tribulation.”


But the Gospel says the opposite:


“Through many tribulations we must enter the Kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22)


Christ prepared us for patience and endurance,

not for escape from trials.

И раз уж мы много говорили об отце Иакове, расскажу вам случай со святым Порфирием и завершу.
В нашем монастыре Агиоргис Арман был псаломщик. Строитель. Профессия – псаломщик, но нам жаль монастырь. Он сам мне об этом рассказал.
Однажды в три часа ночи у него зазвонил телефон.
Он протянул трубку. Пойдём, дитя моё.
Я – отец Порфирий. Что ты делаешь? Он говорит мне: «Старец, всё хорошо, но я сплю», – говорит. – «Завтра мне работа с камнем». Дитя моё, ты спишь, а твой ребёнок в
опасности, мой ребёнок в опасности, твой ребёнок в опасности, ты встаёшь отсюда, а я отсюда
«Вот, давай помолимся», — сказал мужчина в молитве.
В конце недели его сын приезжает на выходные, Ко в Халкиде,
в полдень, чтобы поесть наверху. Нет. Он говорит мне: «Почему я так запомнил это?»
Но, как всегда, я спросил его: «Дитя моё, что ты делаешь? Как ты?»
Отец, ты спрашиваешь меня сейчас; он уже говорит, что тебе сказать, лгать тебе. Если
«Я говорю тебе», — говорит он, — «я нездоров, и я также скажу тебе кое-что, что»
расстроит тебя. Он говорит: «На прошлой неделе я пытался покончить с собой».
Я хотел прыгнуть с балкона в пустоту, но почувствовал, как меня так сильно держит рука
законника, что я удивился. Кто вломился в мой дом? Я оборачиваюсь и
никого не вижу. Я делаю вторую попытку, и снова рука
держит меня. Я никого не пересматриваю. Я делаю третью попытку, и
Рука снова держит меня. Когда я перестал пытаться?
Отец слышит их и плачет. Он говорит ему: «Сынок, это случилось в среду
в три часа ночи». Пришло время сыну потерять их. «Да, отец», — говорю я ему.

«Дай тебе знать». Он говорит: «Он мне сказал». Кто это сказал, тот
Кто удержал тебя от закона?
Наконец, я хочу подтвердить то,
что всегда говорил святой Порфирий и что нам
особенно нужно услышать сегодня. Конечно, он говорил это о родителях и их детях. Думаю, это применимо ко всем нашим человеческим отношениям. Что он им сказал? Когда вы разговариваете
со своими детьми, ваши слова достигают только их ушей и, как правило,
раздражают их. Поэтому результат нулевой. Но если вы говорите со Христом о своих детях, Христос знает и говорит с их сердцами, растворяя их. Мы настаиваем, чтобы мы,
Наши дети, говорили друг с другом.
