I have introduced the foolishness of people these days to enlighten with your soul

Το δόγμα της μετενσάρκωσης σε όλες τις διαφορετικές μορφές, έρχεται σε αντίθεση με τη διδασκαλία της Γραφής σχετικά με τη φύση και το σκοπό του ανθρώπου. Αυτή η ψεύτικη θρησκεία έχει τα αντικειμενικά στοιχεία υπέρ και βασισμένα στη φαντασία. Ωστόσο, αποδεικνύεται ότι προσελκύει και την υπόσχεση ενός είδους αθανασίας της ψυχής (σε πρωτόγονη και παγανιστική μορφή) και, από την άλλη πλευρά, αρνείται την κρίση του Θεού και την τιμωρία της κόλασης. Απελευθερώνει τον αμαρτωλό από φόβο και ευθύνη για ακατάλληλες ενέργειες. Το λογικό συμπέρασμα της διδασκαλίας είναι ότι ακόμα και αν το άτομο διαπράξει πολλές αμαρτίες σε αυτή τη ζωή στην επόμενη μετενσάρκωση μπορεί να βελτιώσει τη θέση του. Μετά από έναν ατελείωτο κύκλο μετενσαρκώσεων, κάθε άτομο τελικά θα φτάσει στο ίδιο άκρο, όπως όλα τα άλλα, αναμιγνύοντας με τον απόλυτο. Η μόνη διαφορά είναι στον αριθμό των κύκλων.

GIFT OF ‘DISCERNING OF SPIRITS’

there is much ignorance, even aversion to these gifts. The reasons being, they are either not understood or they have been misused. The gifts listed in this passage are not natural gifts but supernatural manifestations of God’s power; they are not a construct of our mind, will or abilities.
It is very important that we educate ourselves about these powerful tools that God offers, and be prepared to receive and be used in them.
“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant…” (1 Cor. 12:1)

LET’S DEFINE WHAT THIS SPIRITUAL GIFT OF ‘DISCERNING OF SPIRITS’ IS.
The gift of discerning of spirits is the momentary ability to see into the spiritual world and/or be made supernaturally aware of spiritual beings and their intent - good or evil.

The Bible clearly teaches that there’s an unseen spiritual world that we interact with and God wants us to be aware of. (Ephesians 6:12-13) “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”
AT TIMES, GOD GIVES US GLIMPSES INTO THIS SPIRITUAL WORLD, not to frighten us but to give us the confidence to confront, defeat and set free those held captive by the devil.
(2 Corinthians 10:3-4) “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.”
The Bible is filled with stories of God temporarily opening His servants’ eyes to see this unseen spiritual world. (2 Kings 6:8-17)
SATAN OPERATES IN DARKNESS AND HATES BEING EXPOSED TO THE LIGHT.
The gift of ‘discerning of spirits’ gives us a spotlight on what the devil is doing and what the hosts of Heaven are doing to thwart his plans. At times the Holy Spirit pulls back the veil that hides the spiritual so we can more effectively war against the forces of darkness.
The Holy Spirit can, and at times does, open our eyes to see what we need to see to get the job done. I have come to expect it!
In (Acts 16:16-19) Paul and Silas were preaching and “…were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “ ‘These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.’” She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “’In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!’” At that moment the spirit left her. When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.”
DELIVERANCE FROM DEMONS is often a necessary step as we minister to those who’ve been deeply trapped in sin.
● The gift of ‘discerning of spirits’ is a powerful tool in deliverance; it is like ‘Spiritual X-Ray Vision’ and enables us to identify demons and their activity so they can be cast out.
When God pulls back the veil from our spiritual eyes the forces of darkness have nowhere to hide and the kingdom of God is advanced.

to believe you have the power to control anything by your mind is to fall prey to the same deception that Eve did that led to the spiritual separation of God and man

*The vision of Saint Niphon regarding the Second Coming has something to tell all of us, to every class of people, from bishops down to the last layperson. * One night, after the Saint finished his customary nightly prayer, he lay down to sleep on the stones. As always, it was midnight, and he was still keeping vigil, gazing at the moon and the stars in the sky. Alone as he was, he reflected on his sins. What sins? And yet he wept bitterly because he brought to mind the fearful hour of judgment. Suddenly, he sees the firmament of heaven being drawn back like a sheet, and the Lord Jesus Christ appears in enormous proportions. He stood in the air, surrounded by all the heavenly hosts—angels, archangels, and fearsome and exalted ranks arranged in perfect order. The Lord signaled to the commander of one rank, and he approached—radiant, awe-inspiring, yet reverent. “Michael, Michael, prince of the Covenant, take with your rank the fiery throne of My glory and go to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There you shall set it as the first sign of My presence. For the hour is near when each one will receive according to his works. And the moment has quickly come when I will judge those who worshiped idols, the devil, and denied Me, their Creator. All of them will be shattered like vessels, as will My enemies—the heretics who dared to separate Me from My Father, who dared to reduce the Comforter Spirit to a creature. What hell awaits them? Now I will appear to the Jews who crucified Me and did not believe in My divinity. All authority, honor, and power have been given to Me. I am the righteous Judge. Where are their good works? I showed them the prodigal son as an example and many others so that they would not despair in their sins, but they despised My commandments and denied Me. They turned away from Me and loved debauchery. They loathed Me and became enslaved to sin. Let them therefore go into the flame which they themselves kindled. But also those who died holding grudges, I will hand over to terrible torment. A resentful person remembers the evil done to him and never forgets it. They did not desire My peace was lost, and I lived in anger, bitterness, and wrath. The greedy, the usurers, and the lovers of money—I will destroy and pour out all My wrath upon them, because they placed their hope in gold and ignored Me, as if I did not know how to care for them. And those false Christians who claimed that there is no resurrection of the dead or that there is reincarnation—I will melt them down to Gehenna like wax. Then they will be convinced of the resurrection of the dead. The poisoners, the sorcerers, and all like them will be tortured mercilessly. Woe also to those who get drunk, revel, sing, dance, mock, and imagine evil things. I called them, and they did not listen; they mocked me. Now the worm will gnaw at their heart. I granted mercy and repentance to all, but no one paid attention. I will also cast into darkness those who despised the Holy Scriptures, which My Spirit wrote through the Saints. I will also judge those who deal in superstitions and place their hope in knives, axes, sickles, and similar things. Then they will learn that they should have hoped in God and not in the creations of God. They will be troubled and protest, but they will have no power, for vengeance is Mine; I will repay. I will also punish the kings and rulers who continually grieved Me with their injustices. They judged unjustly and arrogantly, despising people. They accepted bribes, but my authority does not accept bribes. For their injustice, I will destroy them. Then they will understand that I am the One who removes the authority of rulers, that I am more fearsome than all the kings of the earth. Woe to them—what punishment awaits them, because their teeth were set on edge and they shed innocent blood, the blood of their children and daughters. And what wrath shall I bring upon the hirelings who were not true shepherds, who devastated My vineyard and scattered My sheep? They cared for gold and silver, not for souls, and sought the priesthood for profit. How great will be their punishment, how great their lamentation! I will pour out all My anger upon them and crush them. I will punish their lawlessness with a rod and their injustices with scourges. Also, the priests who laugh or quarrel within My holy churches—what shall I do to them? I will condemn them to fire and Tartarus. I came, and I am coming. Whoever has strength, let him confront Me. But woe to him who, being sinful, falls into My hands. For each one will appear before Me naked and exposed. Where will the shamelessness of sinners appear then? How will they face My countenance? Where will they place their shame? They will be disgraced before My pure powers. Now I will also judge those monks who neglected their duties and betrayed the promises they made before God, angels, and men. They promised one thing and did another. From the height to which they ascended, I will cast them down into the abyss. It was not enough for them to destroy themselves, but they also caused a deadly scandal for others. It would have been better for them not to renounce the world than to renounce it and live burdened with sins. Vengeance is Mine; I will repay those who did not wish to repent. I will judge them as a just judge." These words, which the Lord proclaimed to the Archangel Michael, filled the countless angelic hosts with fear. Then He commanded that the seven ages of the world be brought before Him. Michael carried out the command and went immediately to the house of the Covenant and brought them. They were great books, which he placed before the judge. Then he stood aside reverently, watching as the Lord opened and examined the history of all ages. He took the first page, opened it, and read: “The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—God in three persons. From the Father, the Son was begotten. By the Word of the Father, the ages were made. The bodiless powers were created, the sea, the rivers, and all things within them.”

Here is the site of Panagia of Zorochoumbi, also called Panagia of Glossa. It is located about 15–20 minutes from the main road. It lies south of the village of Kellaki, about 5 minutes away. The area is called “Listogonos Mountain,” and it received this name because in old times, pirate ships used to stop there after carrying out raids. The robbers would escape to this mountain to hide, since it was difficult to access. In the past, there was a small village here, which was later abandoned. The inhabitants moved further down. Perhaps this happened because of the raids, to stay hidden, or maybe because of the cold—we do not know. Many ruins remained here, which people called “ruined houses.” Gradually, as people began cultivating gardens in the area, they cleared the land. The first church that existed here was a small chapel, serving as a rural chapel of the village. Some historians date it to the 12th century, others to the 15th century—we are not certain. As we said, this was originally a chapel of Zoodochos Pigi (Life-Giving Spring). Later, the residents leveled the area, intending to use it either for storage or construction. However, in 1976, the metropolitan bishop requested the land to establish a monastery. The local community agreed, along with the priest, and gave the land for this purpose. Thus, in 1976, it became a monastery. Four nuns came from Saint George Domanos, and the monastery began as a communal women’s monastery. Later, the large church of the Holy Trinity was built, which is now the main church (katholikon) of the monastery. It is a beautiful Byzantine-style church. The wooden carvings inside are handmade, dating from around the 1800s. They are remarkable works of art, with symbolic representations such as the phoenix, the vine, and the peacock. These carvings are of great value. The Church of the Holy Trinity was built by the priest of Saint Tychon, Father Kyriakos, together with his wife. Later, other chapels were built, including the chapel of All Saints next to the Holy Trinity. Also, on the first floor of the monastery, there are chapels dedicated to Saint Savvas and Saint Ambrose. There are also many accounts of miracles. A couple once brought their six-year-old child, who could not speak. They stayed overnight at the monastery and prayed to the Virgin Mary for their child to speak. The next morning, at dawn, the child woke up and said, “Mom, I want milk,” even though he had never spoken before. This was considered a miracle of Panagia, and many such miracles have occurred. Another man came recently and said that after praying and repeating the prayer three times for his child, the child’s tongue was opened, and he began to speak. We should also mention the holy water (hagiasma) found here at Zoodochos Pigi. It flows from a rock behind the monastery. However, for easier access, it has been brought to a fountain in front because it is difficult to reach the back. In another case, the Virgin Mary appeared in a dream to a woman who was in the final stages of cancer. She told her to come there, describing the route with turns, and said, “There you will find me, Panagia of Glossa, and my daughters (the nuns) who care for me.” When the woman arrived, she recognized the place exactly as shown in the dream, and her cancer was completely healed. Another woman brought her daughter, who was about to undergo surgery for tumors in her neck. A prayer (paraklesis) was performed, asking the Virgin Mary to perform a miracle. The next day, the girl returned running with her arms open, saying, “I have nothing! They took me for surgery, and there was nothing.” The Virgin Mary had performed a miracle. The girl still visits the monastery and celebrates Panagia with great joy. There was also a nine-year-old child from Russia who had never spoken a single word. After a prayer service and anointing with oil, the child began to speak fluently, as if he had always spoken, with no problem at all. The feast of Panagia here is celebrated on the Friday of Bright Week, the week after Easter, known as Renewal Week. That Friday is dedicated to Zoodochos Pigi. Here, she is also known as Panagia of Glossa. There is also a celebration on Thomas's birthday. Many people come bringing offerings, often silver tokens, asking for miracles. After receiving help, many return to offer silver plaques inscribed with the word “thank you,” expressing their deep gratitude to Panagia.

--- Abdul Hamid gave the order for the tomb of Mehmed the Conqueror, which was located next to the mosque, to be opened in order to check for any damage and make repairs. The tomb was opened, and at a depth of three meters, an iron trapdoor was found. From there, a stone staircase led down into the underground chamber of a Byzantine church. There, to their astonishment, the workers found a marble tomb containing the embalmed body of Mehmed—identical to the portrait painted by the Italian artist a few months before his death. This fact—that Mehmed was buried within the ruins of a Byzantine church—has been considered by many as strong evidence that he wished to be buried as a Christian and Byzantine emperor, among the other Byzantine rulers. It is known that Mehmed often claimed to be the successor of the Byzantine emperors. Sultan Abdul Hamid II, who, for political reasons at the time, had abandoned a certain Islamic sect he had followed and had adopted Sunni Islam, was seized with panic and ordered the tomb to be immediately sealed. These events took place before 1908, and since then, the tomb has never been opened again. For this reason, it is difficult today to verify the testimony. However, on December 19, 1996, a Turkish weekly publication associated with the well-known newspaper Sabah was released with the striking headline: “The Conqueror was a Christian.” The subtitle read: “Historians have not been able to solve this mystery to this day.” Many centuries after the death of the great Fatih—Mehmed the Conqueror, as he is historically known—it is also known that he had a Christian mother, most likely of Greek origin. The fact that in modern Turkey—where Islamic identity is strongly re-emerging—such reports are published is seen by some as evidence of doubt about Mehmed’s true religious identity, even within the official Turkish establishment. This becomes even more significant when we consider that Fatih Mehmed is one of the greatest taboos of Turkish history, nationalism, and identity. A leader like him was expected to embody not only national pride but also religious identity. And yet, inside his tomb, it is claimed, lies one of the greatest secrets of the Ottoman Empire. There were testimonies stating that next to the tomb there was a cross and an icon of the Virgin Mary. According to these claims, Mehmed the Conqueror may have embraced Christianity at the end of his life—something carefully concealed by official Turkish historiography. From his early childhood, he had contact with Christianity through his Christian mother. It is one of the great historical mysteries how a relatively small number of Seljuk Turks and Ottomans who arrived in Asia Minor between the 9th and 10th centuries managed, within a few centuries, to change the entire ethnic and religious character of a region inhabited by millions—many say up to 20 million—Greek-speaking Orthodox Christians. There are many explanations. Some say it was forced Islamization through violence, while others say it occurred for practical and economic reasons. However, because this process of religious conversion was often incomplete and superficial, a unique characteristic remained within Turkish Islam—one that some consider a heterodox element. Today, this is being increasingly discussed by Turkish journalists and researchers under the term “the religious problem of modern Turkey.” On November 10, 2002, a Turkish newspaper reported that the feast of Saint Nektarios was celebrated inside a Muslim mosque—formerly a Christian church—in Eastern Thrace. Many Turkish Muslims stayed after their prayers to observe the Christian service with great reverence. Similarly, there are reports of Turkish Muslims attending Christian ceremonies, lighting candles, kissing priests’ hands, and seeking blessings from the Virgin Mary. In some cases, even Muslims from other countries, such as Iran and Iraq, visit Orthodox churches in Istanbul, seeking hope, healing, and help for their personal struggles. Some Turkish women have even been reported diving into the water during the Epiphany ceremony to catch the cross—an act deeply rooted in Orthodox Christian tradition. Other reports mention Muslims visiting churches regularly, praying, lighting candles, and asking for miracles. Turkish newspapers have even described certain churches as “places of hope” for Muslims. In recent years, there has also been an increase in conversions to Christianity in Turkey, often among people who later discover they have Christian ancestry. Investigations revealed that many of these individuals had ancestors who were Islamized, especially after the Asia Minor catastrophe, and later rediscovered their Christian roots. There are also remarkable accounts of healing sites, such as sacred springs associated with early Christianity, where both Turks and foreigners visit for healing. In some places, visitors light candles, burn incense, and perform acts that are officially forbidden in Islam. Despite this, such practices continue and are even broadcast on Turkish television. One striking example is the pilgrimage to Saint George on the island of Büyükada, where tens of thousands of Muslim Turks visit the church, light candles, make vows, and seek blessings. Some even walk barefoot up the hill to the church, tying threads along the path as part of a ritual for their wishes. Priests are seen blessing Muslim visitors, sometimes even making the sign of the cross on their foreheads. Finally, there was a mysterious event reported in 1998 on the island of Antigoni, where a strange, sorrowful sound—like a sigh—was heard every night around a church. Residents were alarmed and unable to explain it. Some interpreted it as a supernatural sign, even suggesting it was a message from the Virgin Mary—a lament for the state of the world and the abandonment of faith. The church, once full of Orthodox believers, now stands nearly empty. Prophecy about Crete and Greece by Monk Gennadios. A Greek–Turkish war. Monk Gennadios, like many ascetics of the Church, was filled with divine grace and bore Christ within him. Because of this grace, he prophesied, saw visions, and made predictions. Due to the great apostasy of mankind from God, he taught that the end of the world is approaching: the Second Coming of the Lord. First, the Lord will allow a global war to take place because the world does not repent. This war will be the last, because the destruction will be total. A small state will be the cause of the global war. Perhaps that state will be Cyprus. When the flood of Noah occurred, people drowned in water. Now they will drown in blood. In Constantinople, there will be great slaughter, and the sea will turn red from the blood of the slain. A three-year-old calf will float in the blood, as Saint Kosmas said. This signifies the great massacre, bloodshed, and destruction that will occur. The sky will be filled with airplanes dropping fire and bombs on people. Terrified, people will cry out, "My Panagia, my Panagia.” Constantinople will be taken again by the Greeks, but there will be great killing. Before the war begins, a great Cross will appear in the sky. The Turks will attack. They will cross the Evros River and cause destruction. They will reach Hexamilia, and then we will confront them. Other nations will help us, possibly the Russians and the French. We will drive the Turks back and take the city and Asia Minor. We will pursue them as far as the Red Apple. One third of them will be killed, another third will be driven away, and the remaining third will be baptized. They will be descendants of crypto-Christians. There are still crypto-Christians today, but they will be revealed. The great powers will then claim Constantinople, but it will ultimately be given to the Greeks. Greece will suffer great destruction. There may even be a civil war. Prophecy about Crete. The Turks will come to Crete. They will land at Preveli, Maridaki, and Chondros, near Kaloi Limenes. They will carry out massacres and destruction wherever they pass. In the region of Merambello, there will be great slaughter, and the cries will be heard in the mountains.
