The Right of Reincarnation Believers to Believe What They Want

Let us remember Job, whose friends claimed he was being punished for sin, while his suffering was actually a test of his faith in God. If Christ accepted reincarnation, He would not have healed the blind man but left him to “repay” sins from a past life—a notion completely contrary to the Bible.

A person cannot claim to be Christian and, at the same time, believe in Hindu doctrines. Reincarnation believers are free to hold their beliefs, but they cannot distort the Holy Scriptures to support them. The Bible consistently refutes reincarnation.

If reincarnation were true, Elijah’s bodily ascension into heaven would make no sense, nor his appearance at the Transfiguration—perfection would have required absorption into the divine. How did Moses appear after 1,250 years, between his death and Christ’s time? Belief in reincarnation comes from the deception of the devils.
