Что видит душа, когда умирает, свидетельства и учения святых. Что видит душа, когда покидает тело? Есть формы, которые сопровождают ее. Что видели святые и что они передали нам Сегодня мы услышим святые свидетельства от тех, кто видел, жил и оставил нам свой опыт, записанный с болью и правдой. Видео, которое может изменить ваше восприятие жизни и смерти. Агиос Паисиос. Душа уходит сознательно. Святой Паисиос учит нас, что душа не уходит в бессознательном состоянии. Она знает, что покидает тело. Она не теряется. Она не спит. Она знает. Он говорит характерно. Когда человек умирает, он сначала смотрит на свое тело, как бы наблюдая за ним. Святой Иоанн говорит, что душа, когда она уходит, не погребена случайно. Она идет в какое-то конкретное место, в зависимости от ее жизни. Если он жил с покаянием и верой, он идет к свету. Если он жил вдали от Бога, то он идет в темные места. Говорит, что душа направляется в соответствии с весом и светом, который она несет. То, что вы делаете здесь, вы будете делать там. Святой Серафим говорит монаху: «Не бойся. Смерть — это дверь. За этой дверью находится жених. Если ты любишь его, тебе нечего бояться. Смерть — это не конец. Это начало». Святой Серафим сказал, что душа, которая любила Христа, узнает его голос даже после смерти. Святой Нектарий. Утешение в смерти. Святой Нектарий прожил смерть, полную мира. Пока у нас есть время, давайте любить Христа. Давайте исповедоваться. Давайте общаться. Давайте молиться не только за эту жизнь, но и за вечность. 📌 Διαφορές Ορθοδοξίας και Καθολικισμού

Δογματικές διαφορές

Filioque (Φιλιόκβε):

Οι Καθολικοί πρόσθεσαν στο «Πιστεύω» ότι το Άγιο Πνεύμα εκπορεύεται και εκ του Υιού («Filioque»), ενώ στην Ορθοδοξία παραμένει όπως ορίστηκε στην Α΄ και Β΄ Οικουμενική Σύνοδο: εκ του Πατρός.
Αυτό αλλοιώνει την Τριαδολογία και θεωρείται μεγάλη αίρεση.

Το Πρωτείο του Πάπα:

Ο Καθολικισμός δέχεται τον Πάπα ως «αλάθητο» και ανώτατο αρχηγό όλης της Εκκλησίας.
Η Ορθοδοξία δέχεται μόνο «πρωτείο τιμής» στους Πατριάρχες (όχι εξουσίας). Κεφαλή της Εκκλησίας είναι μόνο ο Χριστός.

Το Καθαρτήριο (Purgatorium):

Οι Καθολικοί πιστεύουν σε έναν «ενδιάμεσο τόπο» καθάρσεως μετά θάνατον.
Η Ορθοδοξία δεν το δέχεται. Υπάρχει Παράδεισος και Κόλαση· η μετάνοια τελειώνει με τον θάνατο.

Συγχωροχάρτια (Indulgences):

Καθιερώθηκαν στον Καθολικισμό ως «αγορά συγχώρησης αμαρτιών» με χρήματα.
Στην Ορθοδοξία, συγχώρηση υπάρχει μόνο μέσω μετανοίας, εξομολογήσεως και μυστηρίων.

Άσπιλη Σύλληψη της Θεοτόκου:

Οι Καθολικοί πιστεύουν ότι η Παναγία συνελήφθη χωρίς προπατορικό αμάρτημα.
Η Ορθοδοξία δέχεται ότι η Παναγία ήταν άνθρωπος όπως όλοι, αλλά με την ελεύθερη θέλησή Της έμεινε αναμάρτητη και αξιώθηκε να γίνει Θεοτόκος.

Καθολικό Δόγμα περί «Κτιστού Χάριτος»:

Οι Καθολικοί διδάσκουν ότι η Χάρις είναι «κτιστή ενέργεια».
Η Ορθοδοξία δέχεται ότι η Χάρις είναι άκτιστη ενέργεια του Θεού, που θεώνει τον άνθρωπο.

Εκκλησιολογικές διαφορές

Εξουσία στην Εκκλησία:

Στον Καθολικισμό, όλη η εξουσία συγκεντρώνεται στον Πάπα.
Στην Ορθοδοξία, η Εκκλησία διοικείται συνοδικά.

Αλάθητο:

Οι Καθολικοί πιστεύουν ότι ο Πάπας είναι αλάθητος όταν μιλά «ex cathedra».

Ο Καθολικισμός βλέπει την αμαρτία κυρίως ως «παράβαση νόμου» που χρειάζεται ποινή.
Η Ορθοδοξία τη βλέπει ως «ασθένεια της ψυχής» που χρειάζεται θεραπεία με τα μυστήρια και την άσκηση.

Σχέση με τον κόσμο:

Ο Καθολικισμός συχνά προσαρμόζεται στις κοσμικές εξουσίες (παράδειγμα: Σταυροφορίες, Ιερά Εξέταση).
Η Ορθοδοξία στέκεται πιο ασκητικά και προφητικά απέναντι στον κόσμο.

We welcome Father Damaskinos from Cyprus. He is a monk and a missionary in Africa. Father, we welcome you, and we would like to hear some of your experiences from Africa. Thank you. First of all, I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to be here in Cyprus, the land of holy people. As far as magic is concerned, the situation among the people there is catastrophic. There is no love between people. One time, I asked someone who was carrying a small wooden figure: “Why do you have this with you?” He answered me: “With this, I protect myself and my family from the magic of other people.” He placed all his faith in this small wooden figure. When we baptize people there, we explain to them that they must remove these magical objects from themselves. One person was not convinced to take it off. No matter how much we tried to put him in the water to baptize him, he was unable to enter. An invisible demonic force was pushing him away. Eventually, he was baptized, but he had not truly accepted the faith. When he was in church to receive Holy Communion, he fell down and had convulsions, like an epileptic seizure. We explained to him the reasons why this happened, but he did not want to listen, and he died without confessing the truth. One day, I was with a priest there, and we saw a naked girl. The priest said to me: “This girl is a magician. She came from another village far away.” I asked: “How did she come here from such a distance?” The priest answered: “You do not know. She came flying through the air.” According to what was believed there, in order to succeed in magic, she had taken a small child, torn out the heart, and drunk the blood. In this way, they believed that demons held magicians in the air and allowed them to fly. Another time, Father James was in Africa and asked a magician: “How do you harm people?” The magician said: “Look, I touch them and I cause them problems.” Father James replied: “Do the same to me.” The magician answered: “I cannot touch you. You, the Orthodox priest, are full of fire.” Another time, a man believed to be possessed by a demon went to a Catholic priest to ask him to cast the demon out of him. According to the story, the demon inside the man said to the Catholic priest: “You are a Capuchin. Do you think I can hear you?” The speaker then says that, according to his belief, Catholics do not have divine grace. Now I will tell you another story. Three former magicians went and were baptized without confessing their sins first. According to the story, the demons said to them: “We do not care what you have done, but do not mention it to Father Meletios.” Before being baptized, these three men had killed a woman and her two children. Someone witnessed this, found others, and they went to kill this former magician. The former magician then made a deal with the demons, saying: “If someone kills me, I want you to reveal to my family who my killers are.” They took him to bury him. According to the story, an invisible force did not allow the coffin to be buried. The coffin pulled the men who were carrying it in another direction, leading them to the house of the people who had killed the former magician, in order to reveal who the murderers were. At the funeral, everyone was frightened. They did not know what to do. The dead man appeared to begin breathing inside the coffin, and his son started speaking to him, believing that his father was alive, although he was not. After the murderers were revealed and everyone became afraid, his son came to me asking for help. I brought another priest with me to bury him. Everyone who was there was very frightened. After they saw what we did, how we prayed according to the Orthodox tradition, and how we prayed for the repose of the man’s soul and buried him, they believed that we had greater spiritual power than

Abdul Hamid gave the order for the tomb of Mehmed the Conqueror, which was located next to the mosque, to be opened in order to check for any damage and make repairs. The tomb was opened, and at a depth of three meters, an iron trapdoor was found. From there, a stone staircase led down into the underground chamber of a Byzantine church. There, to their astonishment, the workers found a marble tomb containing the embalmed body of Mehmed—identical to the portrait painted by the Italian artist a few months before his death. This fact—that Mehmed was buried within the ruins of a Byzantine church—has been considered by many as strong evidence that he wished to be buried as a Christian and Byzantine emperor, among the other Byzantine rulers. It is known that Mehmed often claimed to be the successor of the Byzantine emperors. Sultan Abdul Hamid II, who, for political reasons at the time, had abandoned a certain Islamic sect he had followed and had adopted Sunni Islam, was seized with panic and ordered the tomb to be immediately sealed. These events took place before 1908, and since then, the tomb has never been opened again. For this reason, it is difficult today to verify the testimony. However, on December 19, 1996, a Turkish weekly publication associated with the well-known newspaper Sabah was released with the striking headline: “The Conqueror was a Christian.” The subtitle read: “Historians have not been able to solve this mystery to this day.” Many centuries after the death of the great Fatih—Mehmed the Conqueror, as he is historically known—it is also known that he had a Christian mother, most likely of Greek origin. The fact that in modern Turkey—where Islamic identity is strongly re-emerging—such reports are published is seen by some as evidence of doubt about Mehmed’s true religious identity, even within the official Turkish establishment. This becomes even more significant when we consider that Fatih Mehmed is one of the greatest taboos of Turkish history, nationalism, and identity. A leader like him was expected to embody not only national pride but also religious identity. And yet, inside his tomb, it is claimed, lies one of the greatest secrets of the Ottoman Empire. There were testimonies stating that next to the tomb there was a cross and an icon of the Virgin Mary. According to these claims, Mehmed the Conqueror may have embraced Christianity at the end of his life—something carefully concealed by official Turkish historiography. From his early childhood, he had contact with Christianity through his Christian mother. It is one of the great historical mysteries how a relatively small number of Seljuk Turks and Ottomans who arrived in Asia Minor between the 9th and 10th centuries managed, within a few centuries, to change the entire ethnic and religious character of a region inhabited by millions—many say up to 20 million—Greek-speaking Orthodox Christians. There are many explanations. Some say it was forced Islamization through violence, while others say it occurred for practical and economic reasons. However, because this process of religious conversion was often incomplete and superficial, a unique characteristic remained within Turkish Islam—one that some consider a heterodox element. Today, this is being increasingly discussed by Turkish journalists and researchers under the term “the religious problem of modern Turkey.” On November 10, 2002, a Turkish newspaper reported that the feast of Saint Nektarios was celebrated inside a Muslim mosque—formerly a Christian church—in Eastern Thrace. Many Turkish Muslims stayed after their prayers to observe the Christian service with great reverence. Similarly, there are reports of Turkish Muslims attending Christian ceremonies, lighting candles, kissing priests’ hands, and seeking blessings from the Virgin Mary. In some cases, even Muslims from other countries, such as Iran and Iraq, visit Orthodox churches in Istanbul, seeking hope, healing, and help for their personal struggles. Some Turkish women have even been reported diving into the water during the Epiphany ceremony to catch the cross—an act deeply rooted in Orthodox Christian tradition. Other reports mention Muslims visiting churches regularly, praying, lighting candles, and asking for miracles. Turkish newspapers have even described certain churches as “places of hope” for Muslims. In recent years, there has also been an increase in conversions to Christianity in Turkey, often among people who later discover they have Christian ancestry. Investigations revealed that many of these individuals had ancestors who were Islamized, especially after the Asia Minor catastrophe, and later rediscovered their Christian roots. There are also remarkable accounts of healing sites, such as sacred springs associated with early Christianity, where both Turks and foreigners visit for healing. In some places, visitors light candles, burn incense, and perform acts that are officially forbidden in Islam. Despite this, such practices continue and are even broadcast on Turkish television. One striking example is the pilgrimage to Saint George on the island of Büyükada, where tens of thousands of Muslim Turks visit the church, light candles, make vows, and seek blessings. Some even walk barefoot up the hill to the church, tying threads along the path as part of a ritual for their wishes. Priests are seen blessing Muslim visitors, sometimes even making the sign of the cross on their foreheads. Finally, there was a mysterious event reported in 1998 on the island of Antigoni, where a strange, sorrowful sound—like a sigh—was heard every night around a church. Residents were alarmed and unable to explain it. Some interpreted it as a supernatural sign, even suggesting it was a message from the Virgin Mary—a lament for the state of the world and the abandonment of faith. The church, once full of Orthodox believers, now stands nearly empty. And this sorrowful “voice” was seen by some as a symbol of that loss.

🇬🇧 ENGLISH TEXT THE EMBRYOS ARE ALIVE? IT’S PROOFED. Some people went to FATHER PAISIOS and told him that a nun in Cyprus said to light candles for the unborn babies that their mothers kill. Father Paisios said: “She is crazy! There are no unborn babies in heaven, THE EMBRYOS ARE LOST!” During the night he saw a dream… While he was walking he heard voices of small babies, a lot of voices, and the place was shaken. Above them there was sand with candles, and under the candles you could hear babies’ voices. And they were shouting: “SAVE US, GOD, MY GOD SAVE US!” Father Paisios then asked another monk who was close to him: “Who are these that are shouting-screaming?” He was told: “These are the unborn innocent babies that mothers and doctors, without their will, have lost. Because they are unbaptized, they go to a place where the devils are not allowed to tempt them, because they are innocent. But it is dark, it is not paradise, it is darkness.” When Father Paisios woke up he told the people: “There ARE embryos and there IS a soul. Yes, you must light candles for the EMBRYOS. Because there is a soul.” ⸻ LET’S UNDERSTAND: A man approaches a woman and fertilization is done. The sperm of the man is alive — if it was dead, it would not fertilize. So it is alive. From the moment of fertilization the baby receives a soul. Fertilization = living soul + living body. The soul is the breath of God. It is a living being. So there must be respect for the EMBRYOS. ⸻ 🇬🇷 ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ ΤΑ ΕΜΒΡΥΑ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΖΩΝΤΑΝΑ; ΕΧΕΙ ΑΠΟΔΕΙΧΘΕΙ. Κάποιοι πήγαν στον ΑΓΙΟ ΠΑΪΣΙΟ και του είπαν ότι μια μοναχή στην Κύπρο είπε να ανάβουν κεριά για τα αγέννητα μωρά που σκοτώνουν οι μητέρες τους. Ο Άγιος Παΐσιος είπε: «Είναι τρελή! Δεν υπάρχουν αγέννητα παιδιά στον παράδεισο, ΤΑ ΕΜΒΡΥΑ ΕΧΟΥΝ ΧΑΘΕΙ!» Τη νύχτα είδε ένα όνειρο… Καθώς περπατούσε άκουγε φωνές μικρών μωρών, πολλές φωνές, και ο τόπος σειόταν. Πάνω τους υπήρχε άμμος με κεριά και κάτω από τα κεριά ακούγονταν οι φωνές των μωρών. Και φώναζαν: «ΣΩΣΕ ΜΑΣ ΘΕΕ, ΘΕΕ ΜΟΥ ΣΩΣΕ ΜΑΣ!» Ο Άγιος Παΐσιος ρώτησε έναν άλλο μοναχό που ήταν κοντά του: «Ποιοι είναι αυτοί που φωνάζουν;» Του απάντησαν: «Είναι τα αγέννητα αθώα παιδιά που οι μητέρες και οι γιατροί, χωρίς να το θέλουν, τα χάνουν. Επειδή είναι αβάπτιστα πηγαίνουν σε έναν τόπο όπου οι δαίμονες δεν μπορούν να τα πειράξουν, γιατί είναι αθώα. Αλλά είναι σκοτάδι, δεν είναι παράδεισος.» Όταν ο Άγιος Παΐσιος ξύπνησε είπε στους ανθρώπους: «Υπάρχουν έμβρυα και υπάρχει ψυχή. Ναι, πρέπει να ανάβετε κεριά για τα ΕΜΒΡΥΑ. Γιατί υπάρχει ψυχή.» ⸻ Ας καταλάβουμε: Ένας άντρας πλησιάζει μια γυναίκα και γίνεται η γονιμοποίηση. Το σπέρμα είναι ζωντανό — αν ήταν νεκρό δεν θα γινόταν γονιμοποίηση. Άρα είναι ζωντανό. Από τη στιγμή της γονιμοποίησης το μωρό λαμβάνει ψυχή. Γονιμοποίηση = ζωντανή ψυχή + ζωντανό σώμα. Η ψυχή είναι η πνοή του Θεού. Είναι ζωντανό ον. Άρα πρέπει να υπάρχει σεβασμός στα ΕΜΒΡΥΑ.

Δεν λέω ότι ξέρεις ήδη την απάντηση. Αλλά αν δεν υπάρχει Θεός, τότε μένουν κάποια ερωτήματα που πρέπει να σταθούν μόνα τους. Πώς προέκυψε ένα σύμπαν με νόμους που δεν αλλάζουν; Γιατί η ύλη υπακούει σε μαθηματική τάξη; Πώς από απλή ύλη εμφανίζεται συνείδηση — η εμπειρία του “εγώ”; Και γιατί ο άνθρωπος δεν ψάχνει μόνο το “πώς”, αλλά και το “γιατί”; Δεν λέω ότι η απάντηση είναι εύκολη. Λέω όμως ότι η ερώτηση δεν εξαφανίζεται. Και ίσως τελικά, το ζήτημα δεν είναι ποιος “πιστεύει”. Αλλά ποιος αντέχει να δει ότι δεν έχουν εξηγηθεί όλα. — I’m not saying you already have the answer. But if there is no God, then some questions still remain. How did a universe governed by consistent laws come into existence? Why does matter follow mathematical order? How does mere matter give rise to consciousness — the experience of “I”? And why does human thought search not only for “how”, but for “why”? I’m not claiming the answer is easy. I’m saying the question doesn’t go away. And maybe the issue is not who “believes”. But who is willing to admit that not everything is explained.

When you die, my child, many will fight against the priests. And the high priests will not allow any priest to speak on his own—only what they tell him. The high priests will begin writing the sermons, and the priests will simply have to read them. In that time, they will even remove the cross from the sanctuaries. When you see these things, know that the great evil has begun. Priests will no longer be free to speak easily. That is why I will give my spirit to simple children, to boys and girls. After your death, many will want to learn what you said, and the evil one will begin to distort your words in order to bring confusion into people’s minds. Sadly, because our Church is poor, it is controlled by foreign money, and behind it stands the Vatican. That is why, it is said, all the church leaders have been given a noose. God says they have been given a noose and are being pulled like dogs. Soon there will be a new and great evil in the Church, unlike anything before, and the whole Church will be shaken as if by a massive earthquake. It will not be a normal earthquake, but something far greater. At that time, all people, all Christians, will not know where to go or what to do. But remember what Christ says: in My name you were baptized as Christians; in My name you became priests. I will be your true Father of the Church. And remember that the Church is not the buildings that are constructed but your hearts. Time will pass, and people will come to understand who truly governs the world. Then they will see how harsh and evil the Antichrist is. If they do not make the sign of the cross, how will I bless them and remove the poisons placed in their bodies? When they do not have holy water, they will take ordinary water. They will not say “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,” yet I will bless that water, and when they drink it, their bodies will be blessed, and their minds will be cleansed.

Every Thursday and Friday—except, as I told you, for the 40 days after Epiphany—it cannot be performed on September 14th, which is the Feast of the Holy Cross. People would very often ask you to destroy others, especially in matters of inheritance involving large fortunes. Unfortunately, as I remember, during the periods of Holy Thursday and Holy Friday—when major magical rituals take place—even a person could be killed through magic. Of course, there are certain conditions that people should know: if God does not allow it, nothing can happen. For someone to be affected—even to the point of death—they must already be spiritually indifferent, hardened, and have rejected Christ from their heart. That is, they have completely turned away and placed themselves in the hands of the devil. It is the great gift that God gives to people—especially Orthodox Christians—through the sanctification that takes place. At that time, all spells are broken as a sign of God’s gift because of the baptism of His Son. That is, even if you had cast spells on someone, everything would be undone. All the written charms, all the bindings—everything would turn to nothing, like ashes and smoke. And we suffered because of this. What stood out is that during that time, both I personally and Maros—who also confessed this—recognized that Christ is indeed more powerful, and so is the Church. But we still couldn’t leave. —What did you tell your clients? —We told them excuses, because they came with serious complaints. They saw everything turning upside down. Even marriages that had been “achieved” through magic were breaking apart. Forgive me, but marriages were dissolving, along with other matters—inheritance cases and everything else. —Is it possible for someone who works as a medium to have a gift from God and help others? —According to the Orthodox Church, absolutely not, because they cooperate with demons. There are even cases where, at the moment magic or divination is being performed, if Christians are praying or a liturgy is taking place, all their rituals are immobilized. —Does the victim of magic have symptoms, and what are they? —First of all, anyone involved in such practices is cut off from the body of the Church. Secondly, they are exposed to evil spirits that operate within the realm of magic. There are many cases where even the practitioners themselves suffer greatly from the spirits they invoke. In other cases, people fall ill or suffer mental disturbance. —Finally, Father Daniel, how can someone be immune to magic throughout their life? —The way is to live a sacramental life. That is, to be a conscious member of the Church: to have a spiritual father, to confess, to receive Holy Communion, to study Scripture and the writings of the Church Fathers, and so on.

This is a well-known text from the books published about Elder Paisios, Saint Paisios the Athonite. From “Spiritual Awakening” (Discourses II), published by the Holy Hesychasterion of Saint John the Theologian in Souroti, Thessaloniki, around page 188. Listen: a nun once asked Elder Paisios, while he was still alive, “Elder, in these difficult times, will Christ intervene?” It’s the same question people ask today. The same question was asked even before 1994, when he reposed—30 years ago. Even then, people felt the times were difficult. Imagine what he would say about our times today. So the nun asks again: “Elder, in these difficult times, will Christ intervene?” And listen to the vision Paisios had. He was a prophet—not only did he have a prophetic gift (which others also had), but he also had the gift of interpreting prophecy. Here he answers someone who is suffering unjustly but has a good disposition. Because such a person deserves divine help, many times the saints, the Virgin Mary, or Christ Himself appear to save them. How much more now, when the poor world will be in such a difficult state? “What is coming,” he says, “will be like a storm.” Listen carefully—he says the following: “There will be a short ‘occupation’ by the Antichrist, by Satan. Then a ‘slap’ from Christ.” All nations will be shaken, and peace will come to the world for many years. This time, Christ will give an opportunity for His creation to be saved. Will Christ abandon His creation? No. He will appear at humanity’s dead end in order to save people from the hands of the Antichrist. People will return to Christ, and a spiritual peace will come over the whole world for many years. Do you hear what awaits us? These things are said for our own generation. Again—he said this 30 years ago. A spiritual peace will come over the whole world for many years. But first, he says, there will be a shaking of all nations. All nations will be shaken. These are no longer local problems. Notice—they are not national issues; they are global. Some people, he says—pay close attention—connect this intervention of Christ with the Second Coming. “I cannot say that,” he says. See how humble and discerning the saint was. “My thought tells me that this will not be the Second Coming of Christ as Judge, but rather an intervention of Christ.” Because there are still many events that have not yet taken place—he is referring to the events of the Apocalypse. Therefore, we cannot yet speak about the Antichrist in that final sense.

And those false Christians who claimed that there is no resurrection of the dead or that there is reincarnation—I will melt them down to Gehenna like wax. Then they will be convinced of the resurrection of the dead. The poisoners, the sorcerers, and all like them will be tortured mercilessly. Woe also to those who get drunk, revel, sing, dance, mock, and imagine evil things. I called them, and they did not listen; they mocked me. Now the worm will gnaw at their heart. I granted mercy and repentance to all, but no one paid attention. I will also cast into darkness those who despised the Holy Scriptures, which My Spirit wrote through the Saints. I will also judge those who deal in superstitions and place their hope in knives, axes, sickles, and similar things. Then they will learn that they should have hoped in God and not in the creations of God. They will be troubled and protest, but they will have no power, for vengeance is Mine; I will repay. I will also punish the kings and rulers who continually grieved Me with their injustices. They judged unjustly and arrogantly, despising people. They accepted bribes, but my authority does not accept bribes. For their injustice, I will destroy them. Then they will understand that I am the One who removes the authority of rulers, that I am more fearsome than all the kings of the earth. Woe to them—what punishment awaits them, because their teeth were set on edge and they shed innocent blood, the blood of their children and daughters. And what wrath shall I bring upon the hirelings who were not true shepherds, who devastated My vineyard and scattered My sheep? They cared for gold and silver, not for souls, and sought the priesthood for profit. How great will be their punishment, how great their lamentation! I will pour out all My anger upon them and crush them. I will punish their lawlessness with a rod and their injustices with scourges. Also, the priests who laugh or quarrel within My holy churches—what shall I do to them? I will condemn them to fire and Tartarus. I came, and I am coming. Whoever has strength, let him confront Me. But woe to him who, being sinful, falls into My hands. For each one will appear before Me naked and exposed. Where will the shamelessness of sinners appear then? How will they face My countenance? Where will they place their shame? They will be disgraced before My pure powers. Now I will also judge those monks who neglected their duties and betrayed the promises they made before God, angels, and men. They promised one thing and did another. From the height to which they ascended, I will cast them down into the abyss. It was not enough for them to destroy themselves, but they also caused a deadly scandal for others. It would have been better for them not to renounce the world than to renounce it and live burdened with sins. Vengeance is Mine; I will repay those who did not wish to repent. I will judge them as a just judge." These words, which the Lord proclaimed to the Archangel Michael, filled the countless angelic hosts with fear. Then He commanded that the seven ages of the world be brought before Him. Michael carried out the command and went immediately to the house of the Covenant and brought them. They were great books, which he placed before the judge. Then he stood aside reverently, watching as the Lord opened and examined the history of all ages. He took the first page, opened it, and read: “The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—God in three persons. From the Father, the Son was begotten. By the Word of the Father, the ages were made. The bodiless powers were created, the sea, the rivers, and all things within them.”

Here is the site of Panagia of Zodochos Pigi, also called Panagia of Glossa. It is located about 15–20 minutes from the main road. It lies south of the village of Kellaki, about 5 minutes away. The area is called “Listogonos Mountain,” and it received this name because in old times, pirate ships used to stop there after carrying out raids. The robbers would escape to this mountain to hide, since it was difficult to access. In the past, there was a small village here, which was later abandoned. The inhabitants moved further down. Perhaps this happened because of the raids, to stay hidden, or maybe because of the cold—we do not know. Many ruins remained here, which people called “ruined houses.” Gradually, as people began cultivating gardens in the area, they cleared the land. The first church that existed here was a small chapel, serving as a rural chapel of the village. Some historians date it to the 12th century, others to the 15th century—we are not certain. As we said, this was originally a chapel of Zoodochos Pigi (Life-Giving Spring). Later, the residents leveled the area, intending to use it either for storage or construction. However, in 1976, the metropolitan bishop requested the land to establish a monastery. The local community agreed, along with the priest, and gave the land for this purpose. Thus, in 1976, it became a monastery. Four nuns came from Saint George Domanos, and the monastery began as a communal women’s monastery. Later, the large church of the Holy Trinity was built, which is now the main church (katholikon) of the monastery. It is a beautiful Byzantine-style church. The wooden carvings inside are handmade, dating from around the 1800s. They are remarkable works of art, with symbolic representations such as the phoenix, the vine, and the peacock. These carvings are of great value. The Church of the Holy Trinity was built by the priest of Saint Tychon, Father Kyriakos, together with his wife. Later, other chapels were built, including the chapel of All Saints next to the Holy Trinity. Also, on the first floor of the monastery, there are chapels dedicated to Saint Savvas and Saint Ambrose. There are also many accounts of miracles. A couple once brought their six-year-old child, who could not speak. They stayed overnight at the monastery and prayed to the Virgin Mary for their child to speak. The next morning, at dawn, the child woke up and said, “Mom, I want milk,” even though he had never spoken before. This was considered a miracle of Panagia, and many such miracles have occurred. Another man came recently and said that after praying and repeating the prayer three times for his child, the child’s tongue was opened, and he began to speak. We should also mention the holy water (hagiasma) found here at Zoodochos Pigi. It flows from a rock behind the monastery. However, for easier access, it has been brought to a fountain in front because it is difficult to reach the back. In another case, the Virgin Mary appeared in a dream to a woman who was in the final stages of cancer. She told her to come there, describing the route with turns, and said, “There you will find me, Panagia of Glossa, and my daughters (the nuns) who care for me.” When the woman arrived, she recognized the place exactly as shown in the dream, and her cancer was completely healed. Another woman brought her daughter, who was about to undergo surgery for tumors in her neck. A prayer (paraklesis) was performed, asking the Virgin Mary to perform a miracle. The next day, the girl returned running with her arms open, saying, “I have nothing! They took me for surgery, and there was nothing.” The Virgin Mary had performed a miracle. The girl still visits the monastery and celebrates Panagia with great joy. There was also a nine-year-old child from Russia who had never spoken a single word. After a prayer service and anointing with oil, the child began to speak fluently, as if he had always spoken, with no problem at all. The feast of Panagia here is celebrated on the Friday of Bright Week, the week after Easter, known as Renewal Week. That Friday is dedicated to Zoodochos Pigi. Here, she is also known as Panagia of Glossa. There is also a celebration on Thomas's birthday. Many people come bringing offerings, often silver tokens, asking for miracles. After receiving help, many return to offer silver plaques inscribed with the word “thank you,” expressing their deep gratitude to Panagia.

Sultan Abdul Hamid II, who, for political reasons at the time, had abandoned a certain Islamic sect he had followed and had adopted Sunni Islam, was seized with panic and ordered the tomb to be immediately sealed. These events took place before 1908, and since then, the tomb has never been opened again. For this reason, it is difficult today to verify the testimony. However, on December 19, 1996, a Turkish weekly publication associated with the well-known newspaper Sabah was released with the striking headline: “The Conqueror was a Christian.” The subtitle read: “Historians have not been able to solve this mystery to this day.” Many centuries after the death of the great Fatih—Mehmed the Conqueror, as he is historically known—it is also known that he had a Christian mother, most likely of Greek origin. The fact that in modern Turkey—where Islamic identity is strongly re-emerging—such reports are published is seen by some as evidence of doubt about Mehmed’s true religious identity, even within the official Turkish establishment. This becomes even more significant when we consider that Fatih Mehmed is one of the greatest taboos of Turkish history, nationalism, and identity. A leader like him was expected to embody not only national pride but also religious identity. And yet, inside his tomb, it is claimed, lies one of the greatest secrets of the Ottoman Empire. There were testimonies stating that next to the tomb there was a cross and an icon of the Virgin Mary. According to these claims, Mehmed the Conqueror may have embraced Christianity at the end of his life—something carefully concealed by official Turkish historiography. From his early childhood, he had contact with Christianity through his Christian mother. It is one of the great historical mysteries how a relatively small number of Seljuk Turks and Ottomans who arrived in Asia Minor between the 9th and 10th centuries managed, within a few centuries, to change the entire ethnic and religious character of a region inhabited by millions—many say up to 20 million—Greek-speaking Orthodox Christians. There are many explanations. Some say it was forced Islamization through violence, while others say it occurred for practical and economic reasons. However, because this process of religious conversion was often incomplete and superficial, a unique characteristic remained within Turkish Islam—one that some consider a heterodox element. Today, this is being increasingly discussed by Turkish journalists and researchers under the term “the religious problem of modern Turkey.” On November 10, 2002, a Turkish newspaper reported that the feast of Saint Nektarios was celebrated inside a Muslim mosque—formerly a Christian church—in Eastern Thrace. Many Turkish Muslims stayed after their prayers to observe the Christian service with great reverence. Similarly, there are reports of Turkish Muslims attending Christian ceremonies, lighting candles, kissing priests’ hands, and seeking blessings from the Virgin Mary. Some Turkish women have even been reported diving into the water during the Epiphany ceremony to catch the cross—an act deeply rooted in Orthodox Christian tradition. Other reports mention Muslims visiting churches regularly, praying, lighting candles, and asking for miracles. Turkish newspapers have even described certain churches as “places of hope” for Muslims. In recent years, there has also been an increase in conversions to Christianity in Turkey, often among people who later discover they have Christian ancestry. Investigations revealed that many of these individuals had ancestors who were Islamized, especially after the Asia Minor catastrophe, and later rediscovered their Christian roots. There are also remarkable accounts of healing sites, such as sacred springs associated with early Christianity, where both Turks and foreigners visit for healing. In some places, visitors light candles, burn incense, and perform acts that are officially forbidden in Islam. Despite this, such practices continue and are even broadcast on Turkish television. One striking example is the pilgrimage to Saint George on the island of Büyükada, where tens of thousands of Muslim Turks visit the church, light candles, make vows, and seek blessings. Some even walk barefoot up the hill to the church, tying threads along the path as part of a ritual for their wishes. Priests are seen blessing Muslim visitors, sometimes even making the sign of the cross on their foreheads. Finally, there was a mysterious event reported in 1998 on the island of Antigoni, where a strange, sorrowful sound—like a sigh—was heard every night around a church. Residents were alarmed and unable to explain it. Some interpreted it as a supernatural sign, even suggesting it was a message from the Virgin Mary—a lament for the state of the world and the abandonment of faith. The church, once full of Orthodox believers, now stands nearly empty. Due to the great apostasy of mankind from God, he taught that the end of the world is approaching: the Second Coming of the Lord. First, the Lord will allow a global war to take place because the world does not repent. This war will be the last, because the destruction will be total. A small state will be the cause of the global war. Perhaps that state will be Cyprus. When the flood of Noah occurred, people drowned in water. Now they will drown in blood. In Constantinople, there will be great slaughter, and the sea will turn red from the blood of the slain. A three-year-old calf will float in the blood, as Saint Kosmas said. This signifies the great massacre, bloodshed, and destruction that will occur. The sky will be filled with airplanes dropping fire and bombs on people. Terrified, people will cry out, "My Panagia, my Panagia.” Constantinople will be taken again by the Greeks, but there will be great killing. Before the war begins, a great Cross will appear in the sky. The Turks will attack. They will cross the Evros River and cause destruction. They will reach Hexamilia, and then we will confront them. Other nations will help us, possibly the Russians and the French. We will drive the Turks back and take the city and Asia Minor. We will pursue them as far as the Red Apple. One third of them will be killed, another third will be driven away, and the remaining third will be baptized. They will be descendants of crypto-Christians.
