Saint Marina
🔹 A contemporary miracle of Saint Marina the Great Martyr, proving the invalidity of heretical baptism ☦
> "Her oncologist told her that there was nothing more they could do and that they were preparing to face her death.
But one night, while she was sleeping at home, a young girl appeared to her and said:
‘Christina, don’t be afraid, I will make you well. But first, you must go to Andros, to my house, to be baptized.’
Christina, being Catholic, replied: ‘But I am baptized!’
The young girl responded, wagging her finger emphatically:
‘No, you are not baptized. Go to my house in Andros to be baptized, and I will make you well!’
Christina asked: ‘What is your name?’
And she answered: ‘Marina!’
And then she disappeared — she was gone."

On death
“We fear eternal life because we don’t know what it’s like. But those who have experienced it have an irresistible longing in their soul to go there… The righteous are bathed in the ABUNDANT LIGHT of the Holy Trinity! They are not changed in any way. They fully retain their character, they remember everything from this life, and they care for us… There, they have other kinds of knowledge. They know countless things, but only God is truly all-wise. To go there, we must be crucified here… We must die to sin. Earthly pleasures bring pain — this is inevitable. But the pains of repentance and asceticism bring spiritual delights — paradise in the soul, even in this life. And this continues endlessly in the next life… You see them — rejoicing, joking, conversing, exchanging ideas — just like here, only without malice, hatred, or ego. Love reigns there.
When we pray for the departed, when we give hidden alms and perform the proper memorial services, we significantly improve their condition…
They depend on us, because after death, no one can help themselves. The living must go before them. While we are still alive, through repentance and struggle, we grow spiritually. They… are waiting for us. When someone rejoices in the Kingdom of God and sees great sorrow on earth for their sake, they keep a distance — that disturbs the peace of their soul. Like a joyful bride on her wedding day, saddened when she sees her mother mourning her loss… The calmer the souls of the sorrowful become, and the more they are consoled, the closer these souls can come to one another.”

Orthodoxy is the only way
✝️ What does it mean that Orthodoxy is the only Truth?
“I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
(John 14:6)
Christ did not say “I reveal the truth to you,” but “I am the Truth.”
Orthodoxy is His Body, and within it, you don’t just learn about the Truth — you experience it.
📿 Orthodoxy is:
- The Living Tradition of the Holy Spirit
- The Faith of the Fathers (unchanged and uncorrupted)
- The ascetic experience of Divine Grace
- The Divine Liturgy, a foretaste of Paradise
- Repentance, the path of a purified heart that sees God
Words of the Saints:
🕊️ Saint Justin Popovich:
“Orthodoxy is not one of the many religions;
it is the truth of God in the world, the truth of the God-Man Christ.”
🕯️ Saint Paisios the Athonite:
“Orthodoxy contains within it the whole truth. All other religions are human theories, and that is why they lack Grace.”
Orthodoxy does not impose — it bears witness: through life, humility, and love.
And when you live it sincerely, you feel within you the certainty of the Truth:
that Christ is alive, that He loves you, and that He is present at every moment — even in death.
Why Orthodoxy Is the One True Faith (Orthodox Christian Perspective)
Orthodox Christianity teaches that it is the true faith because it has preserved the original and unchanged teachings of Christ and the Apostles for over two thousand years. Unlike other Christian traditions, Orthodoxy did not add or remove doctrines, but kept the same apostolic faith, worship, and spiritual life from the early Church.
- Unbroken Apostolic Continuity
The Orthodox Church believes it has maintained an unbroken line of teachings, sacraments, and bishops going back directly to the Apostles. - Pure and Undistorted Doctrine
Orthodoxy never accepted later innovations such as the Filioque, papal supremacy, or other teachings added in the West. It maintains the same theology defined by the first seven Ecumenical Councils. - The Original Christian Worship
The Divine Liturgy of the Orthodox Church is the same ancient worship of the early Christians, full of Scripture, reverence, and deep spiritual meaning. - The Experience of the Saints
The Orthodox Church produces saints who perform miracles, see divine light, and experience God directly. This living holiness is seen as proof that the Holy Spirit remains in the Church. - Unity of Faith and Spiritual Life
Orthodoxy preserves not only the original doctrine, but also the original spiritual path: repentance, humility, asceticism, noetic prayer, and the healing of the soul. - The One Church of the Creeds
When we confess in the Creed, “One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church,” Orthodoxy understands this not symbolically but literally — that it is the same Church founded by Christ Himself.
