Для многих православных христиан Благодатный Огонь воспринимается как глубокое чудо и знак, связанный с Воскресением Христа. Каждый год в Храме Гроба Господня тысячи людей собираются с глубокой верой и благоговением во время православных пасхальных богослужений.

Существует множество свидетельств паломников, которые утверждают, что в первые минуты пламя ведёт себя необычно — некоторые проводят им по лицу или рукам, не ощущая ожога. Für viele orthodoxe Christen wird das Heilige Feuer als ein tiefes Wunder und als ein Zeichen im Zusammenhang mit der Auferstehung Christi erlebt. Jedes Jahr versammeln sich in der Grabeskirche tausende Menschen mit tiefem Glauben und großer Hingabe während der orthodoxen Osterzeremonien.

Es gibt viele Zeugnisse von Pilgern, die sagen, dass sich die Flamme in den ersten Minuten anders verhält — manche führen sie über ihr Gesicht oder ihre Hände, ohne sich zu verbrennen. Gläubige sehen darin ein Wunder, während Skeptiker argumentieren, dass es natürliche Erklärungen oder rituelle Elemente geben könnte. Es gibt keinen allgemein anerkannten wissenschaftlichen Beweis, der die Frage eindeutig in die eine oder andere Richtung entscheidet.

Historisch wahr ist jedoch, dass die Zeremonie traditionell vom orthodoxen Patriarchen innerhalb der Riten der Orthodoxen Kirche geleitet wird und für orthodoxe Christen auf der ganzen Welt eine immense spirituelle Bedeutung hat.

 It will be liberated on its own, without anyone's help

When we asked Elder Paisios, “But how will we be liberated by ourselves?” he said, “My child, after the threat the Turks will make in the Aegean, the Russians will strike them so suddenly from all sides that they will be forced to withdraw their troops from Cyprus and send them to fight at the Bosporus Strait. And one day you will wake up and hear that the troops are leaving to go fight in Turkey. Then you must have wisdom to manage Northern Cyprus, which will have no army but will be full of settlers, Turkish Cypriots, Kurds, Laz people, Alevis, Sunnis, and Shiites. There our wisdom will be tested, and we church people will have a great responsibility toward both Christians and Muslims.”

Here I will finish. People say there will be prosperity before Cyprus is liberated, a period of abundance like the one we lived through. But afterward will come the great crisis, like the one we are living through now. If people do not understand and turn toward God, a great crisis will come. Listen carefully to this detail:

Hotels will close, and houses will remain unfinished on their concrete pillars. God may even close the heavens so that no rain will fall. All these things belong to Him. And there is something almost humorous, yet it hides a tragic truth that pains me to say: a time will come when people will look for donkeys and not find any.

Why will we look for donkeys? Because there will be no fuel. That is the reason. When there is no fuel, how will I travel from Evrychou to Stavraetos? So this is also a great problem. We ourselves may not have war, but we will not have goods. The malls of Shacolas will be emptied within three days.

How will the people in the cities feed themselves? That is why I say that one great issue we must take seriously is agriculture. We should have our own resources so that in difficult times, we can at least manage our own lives and our own survival.

And the most important thing, which we have not mentioned at all — may God forgive me — is that we must have repentance. Repentance attracts the mercy of God.

The pictures were taken a number of years ago at Holy Trinity (Antiochian) Orthodox Church in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am the priest in the centre of the picture and I had just completed three baptisms and was finishing the chrismations. The shorter young woman on the left-hand side of the picture (not the one in bright light) was a convert from Judaism, and her father — who is a rabbi — took the pictures. So I know they were not edited in any way.

One day, after many days, as she was reading, she felt faint and heard a voice telling her, “Go upstairs; your child has woken up.” And indeed, when she went up, Dimitris had awakened. Someone appeared to him—he believed it was Saint Raphael—who told him, “Come with me.” He felt his soul leaving his body in the intensive care unit, as if someone were taking him. He said they went through something like a tunnel and then arrived in a place full of light, an endless light. There, he could see and hear chanting. He saw people, all around thirty-three years old. He didn’t know anything about such things before. He saw villagers who had recently died, and there were birds, light, and flowers. His soul was filled with joy. Then the figure said, “Let’s go now to see the other place.” The light disappeared, and he found himself in total darkness—endless darkness. He could hear souls as if they were boiling, and a terrible smell suffocated him. That is why, in the 13th chapter of Revelation, Christ warns us about the number of the beast, which is 666. So let’s decode some of these companies that have placed 666 occultly before our eyes, starting, of course, with the favorite telecommunications company of the Greeks, Vodafone.

Here we see its symbol, its logo. What they tell us is that it represents speech marks, like quotation marks. But what is it really? Let’s take a closer look. Look here—do you see it? Here and here and here, in three points. Even though the third one is reversed, it doesn’t really matter. This symbol represents the number six. And since we see it in three places, what does that symbolize? Exactly—666.

That’s why we see it in many advertisements, placed as three points in a row—this logo is presented in various occult ways. Look here and here again—the Formula 1 sign. You’ll see one, two, three. They always place three in a sequence.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HOLY LIGHT

 Who turned them on? Before the patriarch came out, many times the candles of the people were already lit on their own. On the day we were there, before the patriarch came out to give the Holy Light, I was standing right next to it. As soon as the light came from the patriarch, we received it. I saw it like blue flashes moving, and I said, "How can lightning go like that, not from top to bottom but in different directions?"

The person next to me, a monk, said it was nothing special. Another person saw a fiery sphere, another saw a cloud; each saw something different. If it were something artificial, everyone would see the same thing. Why did I see lightning, and you saw a sphere, and another saw a cloud?

I am not confirming what the patriarch does, because I was not right next to him. But I have two questions. First, if it was a deception, how has it lasted so many years? Second, the Armenian archbishop also enters with the patriarch. The Armenian and the Orthodox Patriarch go in together, and the Armenian cannot accuse or expose anything because he is there as well.
