Mother Christofora saw this happening in front of her eyes

 One of the nuns recounts that one day, while the Saint was sitting on his bed and had fallen asleep, he saw an Angel in front of the Saint who said to him: "Bloom, follow me!" The Saint opened his eyes, looked at the Angel and something like a white shadow came out of him and followed him. After a while the nuns knocked on his door to warn him about the bank, but he did not come, it was as if he was absent! After an hour he recovered and whispered: "Thank God! Thank you!" The nuns asked him what happened, but he avoided saying anything else.

After a month, a young man who was a captain ran in shock and fell weeping before the knees of the Saint saying: "We thank our Holy Elder for saving us!". The Saint replied that it was not him, but the Blessed Virgin Mary. At the Mother Superior's urging, the Captain told the Nuns that, as they were traveling on the ocean, they had run into a terrible cyclone from which it was impossible to escape. They struggled with the waves and the fierce wind without hope. Then, in despair, he took out an image of the Holy Elder that he always had on him, calling out to him: "Save us, Saint Anthony!". Immediately afterward he saw St. Anthimos above the ship and cried out to him: "Do not be afraid, my child!". And he took the ship throwing it a mile away from the cyclone!" So they were saved. How many such miracles the nuns who lived through them had to tell!
