Pay attention here

The Orthodox Christian Church firmly rejects the idea that people can deliberately speak with the spirits of their deceased relatives. Such practices — mediums, séances, spiritistic rituals — do not come from God and place a person in spiritual danger.
Holy Scripture clearly forbids attempts to consult the dead (Deuteronomy 18:10–12). The spiritual world is real, but it is not neutral. Not every spirit is from God. The Church teaches that demonic forces are capable of deception and imitation, even presenting themselves as departed loved ones to mislead and gradually enslave a person spiritually. However, the Orthodox tradition also recognizes something important: God is sovereign. In rare and extraordinary cases, if God Himself wills it for a person’s spiritual benefit, He may permit a departed soul to appear. Such events are not the result of human effort, rituals, or curiosity. They are acts of divine economy, allowed solely by God, for repentance, warning, or spiritual strengthening. The difference is crucial. One is human initiative driven by curiosity or grief — and this opens the door to deception. The other is God’s initiative, beyond human control, given for salvation. A Christian does not attempt to summon the departed. The proper path is prayer for them and trust in God’s mercy. If God wishes to reveal something, He will do so according to His will, not ours. True safety is found in Christ, in repentance, in the Sacraments, and in humble faith — not in seeking supernatural experience @AnninosCh

Prophecies about the War and the Cyprus Issue: What to Expect

Prophecies about the War and the Cyprus Issue: What to Expect

According to prophecies attributed to Orthodox Saints, the coming years will be marked by major geopolitical upheavals in our region.

The prophecies speak of a war involving Turkey, which will lead to great destruction and territorial fragmentation. It is mentioned that powers such as Russia will become involved, and Turkey will be dramatically weakened. Through this conflict, peoples such as the Kurds and Armenians will claim and regain territories.

According to these prophecies, Constantinople will once again come under Greek control.

After these events, the Cyprus issue is expected to change radically. It is said that the Turkish army will no longer be present in Cyprus. Turkish Cypriots will return to their homes, and Greek Cypriots will return to theirs, to the properties they lost. The major remaining issue will concern the settlers and how they are managed.

However, the same prophecies warn that these events will not remain local. The Turkish war will not be the end — but the beginning of a larger global conflict that will shake humanity.

Many see in these accounts a period of great trials, but also of realignments that will lead to a new historical era.
