NOTES
“Christ died for our sins…He was buried…He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures…He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred…”
Κυριολεκτικά έμοιαζε με τον Spider-Man.
Είπε, "Είμαι αυτό που είμαι." Το έψαξα στο Google. Είμαι τι;

When I will the Antichrist appears
🇬🇧 English Text
According to Orthodox Tradition and the teachings of contemporary saints and spiritual elders, the appearance of the Antichrist will not occur before certain spiritual and historical events take place.
The Holy Fathers emphasize that before the final trial, there will be a spiritual revival, repentance, and a return of many people to the faith. The Church will be glorified, and the world will be given one more opportunity.
The Antichrist does not appear secretly or suddenly without the foretold signs. In Orthodox theology, God permits events within His divine providence, and nothing happens outside His plan.
Therefore, the Church calls for vigilance, prayer, and discernment — not fear or panic.
It is not his time yet.

The Conversion of Nun Sister Nonna from Islam to Orthodoxy
She served as a nun at the Russian Gorny Monastery in Jerusalem.
Fatima — that was her name before baptism — was born in Turkey, in a small village hidden in the mountains, where all the inhabitants professed Islam.
When she was 12 years old, her mother became seriously ill. The woman endured her illness with great patience and gentleness, but there was no hope of recovery.
One day, a sorrowful day dawned for their large family. Relatives gathered by the bedside of the sick woman.
As she was bidding farewell to her husband and children, the dying woman said, to their great surprise:
“Do not bury me according to Muslim rites. I am a Greek Christian. My baptismal name is Galina.”
She passed away shortly after saying these words.
Her loved ones were astonished, but they honored her final wishes.
Some time after her mother’s death, Fatima’s older brother sent her to study in Constantinople.
After completing her secondary education in the capital, Fatima, with the help of her caring brother, moved to Russia to learn Russian, hoping one day to work as a translator. Her studies progressed smoothly, and within a few years she could speak and read Russian fluently.
One day, while walking through the city where she was studying, Fatima saw an old, worn Gospel being sold at a book stall. At that time, in the late 1980s, it was still difficult to purchase such a book in a regular store.
Fatima knew that the Gospel is as sacred to Christians as the Qur’an is to Muslims. She was extremely curious to learn what it contained and what Jesus taught, especially since her late mother had been a Christian.
Without hesitation, she decided to buy the book.
From that day on, every afternoon after her classes at the institute, she hurried back to her dormitory to begin reading the Gospel as soon as possible.
She later said that while reading, the world and everything around her seemed to cease to exist and become insignificant. Only the narrative of the book felt real.
The Gospel astonished her and left her speechless, capturing her mind and heart and filling her soul with indescribable joy.
Fatima had a pet hamster in her room.
One evening, while reading the Gospel, she became concerned when she noticed that the hamster was making no sound, yet she could not stop reading.
After some time, she wondered again what was happening, noticing the complete silence in the room, but once again she could not stop reading.
Remembering her beloved pet for a third time, she stood up, went to the window, and saw that her hamster was dead.
Grief and sorrow overwhelmed her soul.
In that difficult moment, she suddenly remembered Christ. After all, He had performed so many great miracles! He had raised Lazarus, who had been dead four days — what would it cost Him to revive a small hamster?
Inspired by this thought, and not yet realizing that she had already begun to pray, Fatima tearfully begged the Savior to bring the animal back to life.
According to her later recollections, at that moment the entire room was filled with an unearthly light. The light grew brighter and brighter, penetrating her body and filling her heart with indescribable joy.
At one point, she saw herself lifted from the ground, suspended in the air — and the hamster suddenly came back to life and began running around its cage as before.
The next day, Fatima did not attend class. Early in the morning, she left the dormitory searching for the nearest church so she could receive the Holy Mystery of Baptism as soon as possible.
She asked everyone she met where the church was, but strangely no one seemed to know. One man gave her good advice: “Ask the grandmothers — only they know.”
And so she did. She met an elderly woman who showed her the way to the church.
By divine providence, Fatima entered the church just as the priest was about to baptize a group of about ten people.
When she learned that the Sacrament of Baptism was about to begin, she approached and stood in line with them.
When the priest, who had noticed a new face among the catechumens, asked her, Fatima answered decisively that she wished to be baptized.
In those years, at the end of the Soviet era, some priests blessed every newly baptized person to receive Holy Communion for forty consecutive days.
Thus Fatima, who received the new name Nonna at her baptism, attended the Divine Liturgy early every morning.
During this period, she gradually became more deeply acquainted with the Church, and the priest, to his great surprise, learned that he had baptized a Muslim woman.
Soon another joyful day arrived, when in the same church where Fatima had been baptized, a memorial service was held — a funeral service in absentia for her departed mother, the secret Christian Galina.
GLORY TO YOU, O LORD.

O anda birden Mesih’i hatırladı.
Karşılaştığı herkese kilisenin yerini sordu, fakat kimse bilmiyordu.
Böylece vaftizde Nonna adını alan Fatima, her sabah erken saatlerde İlahi Litürji’ye katılmaya başladı.
RAB’BE YÜCELİK OLSUN.
