Elder, why does God allow so many young people to die?
- God takes each man at the best time of his life to save his soul. If he sees that someone will become better, he lets them live. But if he sees that he will become worse, he tries to save him.
Some, again, who have a sinful life but are willing to do good, He takes them to Him before they have a chance to do so, because He knows that they would do good as soon as they have the opportunity. That is, it is as if he were saying to them, "Do not be weary; it is enough that you are in a good mood."
Another, because he is very good, he chooses him and takes him to him, because Paradise needs buds.
Of course, parents and relatives find it a little difficult to understand this...
You see, a little child dies, Christ takes him as an angel, and the parents weep and grieve when they should be rejoicing. How do they know what would happen if he grew up?
That's how parents should rejoice.
After all, from that moment on, they have an ambassador in heaven. When they die, their children will come to the door of Paradise with six wings to receive their souls. This is no small thing!!!!
To the little children who have suffered here from illness or from some disability, Christ will say, "Come to heaven and choose the best place." And then they will tell Him, "It's nice here, Jesus, but we want our mummy to be with us." And Christ will listen to them and somehow save the mother, too."
There is another life, and what we are living is a preparation for eternity.
It is tragic to experience, as Orthodox, the death of a human being as a nihilistic catastrophe, as a loss forever, as the disappearance of man.
In death, man is complete. So do not be afraid of death because it does not exist.
Let us fear lest we lose Christ.
It is contradictory to be frightened when we hear that my child, my husband, or my wife has fallen ill and may lose their life here, but not to be concerned at all whether they will become partakers of eternity.
There are no dead or disappeared. Sleepers are waiting to wake up.
Who are they waiting for?
The one who will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, for the kingdom has no end.
